Family Discipleship
Discipleship is important for every individual within a community of believers. However, we believe that it is particularly important for a congregation to have a vision for family discipleship, as it is families that typically make up the core and future of congregation life. Below you will find some general principles that govern our approach to giving families a vision for discipleship.
- We will aim to encourage families to grow together in the Messiah.
- We will aim to build a mentality into families who are thinking of discipleship in terms of the 3rd generation. In other words, we want fathers and mothers to have a vision to raise up children who have a vision to raise up their children (the 3rd generation) to love and follow Yeshua.
- We want to encourage and disciple men in particular to have a vision to be the cohen (priest) in their home.
- We want to be ready to serve and equip families that are broken and in need of the service and comfort of the Body of Messiah.
