Passion

We are passionate about…

  1. The glory of God – We aim to lead people to joyfully hope in Messiah to the praise of God’s glory (Eph 1:12)
  2. The redemption that has come and is coming – We want to encourage and equip people to treasure the awesome personal implications of the Messiah’s life, death, and resurrection.  And we want to live joyfully in anticipation of Yeshua’s return and the final consummation of the kingdom of God on earth.
  3. All of God’s Word – All of Scripture is God breathed (2 Tim 3:16).  Therefore, we teach and apply the Torah, Prophets, Writings, and New Covenant Scriptures (aka Old and New Testaments)
  4. Worship– We want to live lives that worship God in spirit and truth (John 4:24).  We aim for Messiah–exalting worship during our services and in everyday life.  Worship is both an attitude of the heart and a lifestyle!
  5. Prayer – This is where we rise and fall!  We can only live the life of Messiah through a dynamic, desperate, and steadfast attitude of prayer as individuals, as families, and as a congregation.
  6. Families being built up together – We aim to encourage each member of the family to pursue their role with a passion for God’s glory.  We value families worshipping together both at home and in the congregation.  We welcome individual families (singles) and families that are broken and in need of healing.
  7. Authenticity in our relationships – We value encouraging one another and bearing each other’s burdens in the Body of Messiah (Heb 10:24-25; Gal 6:2).  Therefore we meet in small groups(havurot) in addition to our weekly service to make life to life connections.
  8. Being and making disciples – We are dedicated to growing in godliness, living out Spirit–filled, fruit producing lives and encouraging others to do the same (Gal 5:22-25; Matt 28:19-20).
  9. Unity in the Body – We value diversity (Jews, Gentiles, men, women, various cultures) within the Body of Messiah in general and in our local congregation in particular that is unified under His headship (Col 1:18; Gal 3:28-29).
  10. Making the Messiah known – Our outreach is governed by making the Good News of the Messiah known “to the Jew first and also to the Greek [Gentiles]” (Romans 1:16).  We are passionate about bringing Messiah’s salvation to our local community, to Israel, and to the nations.
