About

Beth Messiah

Beth Messiah is an emerging synagogue with a rich heritage within the Messianic Jewish movement. A place where Jewish believers in Yeshua can experience the shalom and wrestle with the tensions of following the Rabbi from Nazareth. A spiritual home for intermarried families and those raising Messianic Jewish children. A community welcoming all lovers of God, Israel, and Israel’s Messiah.

Our History

Beth Messiah Congregation was founded in 1973, and in 1979 Beth Messiah was one of the 19 congregations that formed the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (umjc.org). Over the years, Beth Messiah has equipped a number of leaders who have had a great impact on Messianic Judaism both locally and globally.

Messianic Judaism

Messianic Judaism is “a movement of Jewish congregations and groups committed to Yeshua the Messiah that embrace the covenantal responsibility of Jewish life and identity rooted in Torah, expressed in tradition, and renewed and applied in the context of the New Covenant.” (umjc.org/defining-messianic-judaism)

We encourage Jewish people, those married to Jewish people, and those rare individuals who, though not born Jewish have a deep love and regard for Jewish life, to consider Messianic Judaism – a faith which ‘puts it all together’ in profound and exciting fashion.
